Barrow Vale is a family run working dairy and beef farm offering homely accommodation. Although very easily found on the A39 you will enjoy a peaceful and comfortable stay in a traditional farmhouse originally part of an estate and built in the 1700ís. We offer two tastefully decorated spacious en-suite bedrooms with colour televisions, tea and coffee making facilities, radio alarms, hairdryers and freshly laundered towels. You can enjoy the relaxation of the conservatory overlooking the garden which can also be used by our guests. The dining room provides a separate table for each bedroom on which to enjoy a full english aga cooked breakfast served between 7.30am and 8.30am.
Guests are welcome to use the footpaths on and around the farm, where you will be awarded with beautiful views over Bath and Bristol and far reaching views of the welsh mountains.
On arrival you will be given your own key to the house and a separate key for your room. There is no time limit as to when to return. There is always automatic external and internal lighting for guests returning later in the evening from weddings etc. The farmhouse is fully centrally heated at all times.
There is ample space for parking and we can also accommodate larger vehicles and trailers.
We will do our upmost to make you feel welcome and provide a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
We are open all year around except Christmas and New Year. No pets allowed.
